We want your junk!

We always like to make you a little something to take home whilst we are at Nursery, and one thing we especially enjoy is to make models from junk. As we have a lot of children in Foundation Stage 1 and 2 we are running out of stocks.
The children get to use and develop many skills when making models including imagination about what they are going to make and often adapting it as they begin, cutting skills, physical manipulation and many more.
Please clean and save your junk and bring it in to school (we can't promise it won't return back to you in a different form).  No toilet roll inners though as we are not allowed to use them.

Remember, remember the 2nd of November!

The Foundation Stage 2 classes (Mrs Wright and Mrs Bell) are having a 'Bonfire Party' on 2nd November as part of our 'Celebrations' topic.
Much of the activities planned will happen outside. For this reason could you please remember to send the children to school with a warm coat, hat, scarf and gloves.

Welcome to the Gleadless Primary School Foundation Stage blog!

Welcome to our blog! Here is the place where all the information you need about our school foundation stage will be posted. You will obviously still get important news via the traditional 'letter home' system, but we hope to give you a much greater insight into your child's day right here.
Please keep looking as we plan to include details of topics covered and activities undertaken.
Thankyou
