Yorkshire Wildlife Park

A great big thankyou goes out today to all involved in the Foundation Stage trip to the magnificent Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

We saw...

Some very cheeky Meerkats

Quite possibly the LARGEST rabbit in the world!

Some extremely lazy lions.

Several stripy zebra.

The terrifically cute Lemurs.

A Racoon-Dog looking hot and bothered

Some grumpy Bactrian Camels.

 A hungry Rhea.

Two elusive Tigers.

A sleepy, spotty Leopard.

And some unusual South American rodents.

There were, however, many more attractions there than are featured in these photos.

The trip was a complete success, with many parent helpers saying how wonderful the Park was and that they would definitely visit again in the near future.

All children arrived back at school safe and sound, if not a little sleepy, despite Mrs Stott suggesting she might feed them to the Lions!

A big THANK YOU to all who helped to make the day run smoothly.
